Totally incompetent . I put my bins out alongside every other with the correct waste inside etc yet they keep missing it? Are they blind?? It's so inconvenient and has happened a few times over the last 12 months and I'm getting VERY tired of reporting it, especially in view of the exorbitant council tax they charge. Missed AGAIN today and it was side by side with one they'd emptied! I also received a paper copy of my council tax bill for the last year which I knew was fully paid, yet they were requesting ANOTHER month's payment for January. When I queried it they said it was a mistake but if I'd paid without realising I'd have lost that money! So make sure you know EXACTLY what you've paid them or you could be overcharged! They charge more and more for less and less. Where is that money going?? Funding their huge pensions no doubt!

Awful customer service and bin collections for their residents, they also never respond to youcwhen you raise something. Shocking, Telford and Wrekin council are leagues above them which is a shame as I reside in Shropshire. Extremely high council tax for not a lot in return if you work for a living....roads are in a state with pot holes, where is all of our money going to Shropshire Council???

It is much quicker by phone getting through to Shropshire Council than to other local councils. The staff in the Council Tax Department are excellent. Knowledgeable, helpful, polite and efficient!

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH absolute waste of time..their employees do not know the law and even said that the landlord can just turn up when he wants and walk through the garden and harass me all because he had to fix the boiler and didn't want to spend any money..ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH support this behaviour

As a new customer of Shropshire Council, having moved from Telford & Wrekin, I have been very impressed using FixMyStreet. Having reported a blocked drain and fly tipping near to where I live, both were sorted within days. I received emails advising of progress which was also helpful. No complaints here!
