I cannot recommend Rob highly enough for wedding photography. We have now received the full set of photos from our wedding and are absolutely delighted! Rob really put us at ease in the run up to the wedding, asking us for our preferences and helping us make decisions about which shots were important to us. On the day, he made sure the dreaded posed group and couple shots were quick and painless, before moving on to focus on candid shots that captured the day perfectly. We were also very impressed with the quick turnaround. Rob shared some preview shots the day after the wedding and provided the full set only 2 weeks later! The photos are everything we hoped for and more, thank you Rob!

Honestly, where do we start with Rob? From the first interaction we had with him, through to the day itself, Rob made us feel in safe hands. His relaxed yet professional demeanour, creativity and experience shone through and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Rob felt like part of the wedding party, making everyone feel at ease. With a furry friend as ringbearer to contend with, several emotional moments during the day, the British winter weather, not to mention an army of bridesmaids to try and control (!), he took it all in his stride and the resulting photos are absolutely amazing. Every single moment captured is beautiful. If you want a photographer who can capture the true essence of you as a couple and of your wedding, Rob is your guy. On the day he was great at providing advice based on his experience, he was fun and made us and all the guests feel comfortable. The photos truly captured the atmosphere of the day, and we got sent them promptly after the wedding!

We are so glad we chose Rob to be our wedding photographer. His communication leading up to the wedding was great. On the day he was really fun to be around, and made everyone feel at ease. He then sent us a few sample pictures very quickly, and the whole set of photos far sooner than we were expecting based on the experience of many other couples we know. The photos themselves were exceptional. He perfectly captured every aspect of our day, from the small details to larger group shots and capturing the overall experience of our wedding. We could not recommend Rob enough.

We're not the most comfortable people when having our photos taken but Rob made us feel so at ease for our posed photos and we barely noticed he was there throughout the day but beautifully captured every moment.

Rob was an absolute joy to work with and the photos he took of our day really captured the day perfectly. His eye for a great picture is worth far more than 5 stars, the candid photos he takes are an amazing momento and he spots the perfect backgrounds for the more posed for shots. Every time we look at the photos we are taken back to the day and the fun that was had by everyone. I also couldn’t believe how quickly he shared the photos with us. Would highly recommend Rob to anyone currently planning their wedding!

Rob at shooting hip did our wedding photography and he was fantastic! Everyone at our wedding said that he was amazing and an extremely knowledgable and experienced photographer - we felt completely safe in his hands! he was friendly, approachable and very professional and delivered exactly what we were after! He got every shot we asked for and climbed up ladders, took direction from some bridesmaids (!) & endured the august sun to do it! When we first had to choose a photographer for our wedding at the Tithe Barn in Petersfield, there really was no comparison and Shooting Hip was an easy choice to make to capture all the moments of our wedding day. Rob's style that we observed from his site really captured those unseen and more casual moments of the day: guests laughing, joking, talking etc. as well as those more special one-off moments that no one else would notice except for an excellent photographer! Rob was prompt on the day, even more prompt with sending us photo samples on the wedding day itself via WhatsApp as well as the day after which we loved. Then we got 700 photos in slide show and single files of the wedding day, it was amazing and less than two weeks after the wedding day itself which is incredible seeing as we have friends who have waited 6 weeks for their wedding photos. Please don't hesitate to choose Rob for your special day, you will not be disappointed!!

My wife and I cannot recommend Rob enough! He is the type of guy who can get on with everyone, blend in with your day and makes everyone feel comfortable to get some awesome pictures at the end. We were so impressed at the end result (from our micro wedding) and love our wedding photos. We will definitely be using him again for our wedding party!
