    Shoeburyness, is a quiet place most of the time. As a wheelchair user, it is not accessible really the roads as most places need to be adapted. The beach is pleasant, but not accessible for wheelchair users and there aren't any cafes by the beach. There is a van that sells ice cream, coffee, teas and some hot food. There are toilets, and a small play area that should be more developed because there is enough of an area. There is a gym, by the school and a few supermarkets. Public transport is consistent and most friendly, the 9, 14 and a few others with the Shoeburyness station currently manned it allows access to other places. It's nice to know the people that travel here, generally live here. It's nice to be by the sea and away from the sky pollution.

    My wife and I were at this station and had problems purchasing a ticket in Upminster, the ticket sales person at this station was most helpful in not only assisting our purchase of return tickets, but also giving us information about the facilities in the area and of the points of interest. A truly lovely person who added value to our day.

    Ticket machine not working, as far as I can see with other reviews this is the norm, well done C2C for taking all customers comments seriously and sorting out this issue. The ticket office was closed so nowhere to get ticket and no staff available to ask a couple of travel questions. The station is run down and just another horrible experience using the C2C service.
