Absolutely disgusting… first off all, I don’t know what’s up with the reviews because everyone is leaving reviews about the bad toilets, yes they’re not the best. But has anyone seen or had the food, everyone in my family has a bad stomach, I get migraines sometimes and I’ve had a stomachache and headache plus been vomiting since having yesterday evening. We ordered a platter for 4 people (All lamb). Which turned up with rice being sprinkled everywhere and 2 lamb chops, 1 kebab (kofta) 1 Shish (lamb tikka) an the tiniest amount of of lamb shawarma pieces I think there were probably 5-10 pieces of the shawarma 😂 you can imagine putting that in the palm of a babies hand and it still wouldn’t be a handful. So I looked at my parents as okay we have no choice now as we’ve got to eat what we’ve been given. The rice seemed like it was from three weeks ago probably. No wonder why people are leaving reviews of getting food poisoning and we’re all ill, oh and the best part is that they had the audacity to say “CASH ONLY” absolute disrespect, and yes the toilet’s lights don’t work so yes everything is pretty much bad, I agree with those people asking how this place is still legally open.

Being going Shishawi for a few years now, service is often good as the staff are quite genuine and don't put on an act like most places, with nothing but smiles and happiness glaring through there faces. Real down to earth, I must say. Food is good, and I've never experienced any sort of problems with any of the food I've ever gotten here. Prices are quite reasonable for the location given Being Edgware road, dead in Central London. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is the fact that they are cash only, which can be a bit inconvenient at times but an easy resolution, surely? The outside shisha area does tend to get quite busy in the evenings heading well into the night, so if that's what you're going for, then maybe try reserve or just head there a bit earlier if possible, do bare in mind it is an outdoor venue so if it is cold then you can't really expect them to do anything about the weather. I see a few bad reviews about there been a fish tank which is true, but for as long as I can remember that is now gone, toilets been dirty? It's a toilet.
