extremely bad! I was on time for my appointment. After waiting 1 hour and they said they couldn't see me. I am pregnant and my case is to have an urgent blood test. They asked me reschedule in 2 weeks for an URGENT TEST when I am close to my due date Horrible ❌❌❌

Went today an hour late as my husband gave me the wrong time. I was mortified but the receptionist (I should have got her name) was so lovely and after a short wait, I was seen by a wonderful doctor. Things with the SHP are certainly improving. Thank you guys for your support

My elderly mother, who has complex medical needs has been a patient at Solihull Medical Centre for many years. I have been very impressed with, not only the level of care she has received but also the kind and professional way she has been dealt with by all staff. The surgery has signposted her to other services including the dietician and bladder and bowel clinic as well as making regular contact to arrange medication reviews and health and wellbeing checks. I feel very grateful for the way they have cared for my mum. Unfortunately, long wait times when contacting doctors surgeries are commonplace and not just a problem at Solihull Medical Centre.

    - Incompetent doctors. - Zero skills when it comes to diagnosis the health problem. - No duty of care. - Rude and incompetent reception / back office staff. I am not even complaining about not getting appointments.

I find it disgusting that we have to wait on the phone for a long time and then get a receptionist that is rude and will not make an appointment for the dr, it is totally out of order that we can’t get to see a dr and can go to events. I was told I couldn’t see a dr because I had a cough and was spoken to in a rude manner, does this mean people have to die or pay to see a dr because they have a cough? Covid is here to stay but I find it unbelievable that Shirley medical centre are not seeing people and we have to suffer. We need to see a dr. I don’t want to be spoken to in a manner by a receptionist in a way that is unreasonable when we are told to talk nice to them. A phone call is not good enough. The public want a face to face appointment. We’re not happy with the set up at all.

everyone giving negative reviews and to those reading negative reviews. Remind yourself of two things: 1. rarely do people leave 5 star reviews 2. if you're calling the gp at 8:00 (before work) or 5-5:30 (after work / end of work) guess what. That's what everybody else is doing. I called at 1:30pm and was put through to someone within 10 minutes. Don't complain because of YOUR poor planning

Lines open at 8am. As soon as the lines open you're told they're at capacity and to call back later, you call back later and there are no appointments at which point they tell you to try again tomorrow at 8am.
