  Given 5 stars to get noticed. This is the most appalling company I have ever come across. Ordered a very expensive greenhouse so expected a quality service. The greenhouse arrived with front panels completely missing. The company promised to deliver missing panels one week later. Panels didn’t arrive and I’ve now been given two new separate delivery dates and don’t expect the missing panels to arrive. Please avoid Shire at all cost because it will cost you.

  I ordered through Wilko rather than direct so not sure if this impacts my experience, but I cannot fault them at all. Ordered a 3 x 2 shed for our small garden, delivery was booked for a couple of weeks from ordering. I didn't receive any communication other than the original booking confirmation, and on the day of delivery tracking was showing as waiting to be dispatched at 12.30 in the 10-2 slot. However, I rang the office and was told the driver was 10 mins away, which he was. The delivery driver was very friendly and told me he came all the way from Cambridge (to the north east)! I've assembled the shed and am very happy with it. We added a few extra screws here and there for sturdiness, and a couple of things could have been better aligned but for £150 I can't complain! If I had of read the previous reviews before or after purchase I would have been very worried and put off, but they deserve a good review in this instance.

  I ordered with this company due to the 7-10 delivery timeframe advertised on their page, not only was the advertisement misleading as the earliest date available to book was 18 days but then it was further delayed by another week due to “issues with the manufacturer” then just to add insult to injury after taking a day off to accept my item, at 6pm I realised it wasn’t coming, it arrived the next day and was dumped on my doorstep, no apology, nothing, if the ring doorbell hadn’t picked up movement, my wife wouldn’t have known he was out there. Apparently a “ticket” has been raised to acknowledge my complaint but shock/horror, haven’t heard anything, really, really poor service.

  Such a shame that Very use this company as a supplier. I can't comment on the quality of the product as it never arrived. I have called 5 times and no one seems concerned about my missing order and the fact that they can't even contact the driver who allegedly had it and was meant to deliver it yesterday. I asked them to send a replacement until they locate the first shed which they can then return to themselves and they have refused. Said they can't send a replacement until they know what has happened to this one. Despite me repeatedly stating how urgent this delivery is. When I placed the order Very website said it would be delivered by 12th May, but Shire only gave me the option of yesterday as they only deliver to my postcode on a Monday and Tuesday. So they've now been unable to locate their driver or my building for 24 hours. Customer service could not seem to care less.

  Another late delivery. Potting shed Icenci 8x6 didin't arrived on the arranged date. As stated on several other reviews. When I did receive the shed two days later the driver unloaded and left. There were numerous splits in the wooden roof. One of the triangular window frames had a split at the top at least six inches long, a support strut had a HUGE chunk missing. Quite a few of the grooves of the T&G were broken, very, very obvious. Numerous nails sticking out. Doesn't seem shire have any QC at all. I have emailed their CS several timeas and get a generic reply..."Your request (27207) has been updated. To add additional comments, reply to this email." I have telephoned this companies customer services, but the phone is never answered. Would never use again and certainly would not recommend

  Quite disappointed with the small summerhouse we received from Shires. We had previously purchased the same design about 3 years ago and we were so impressed that we had no hesitation in reordering for our new garden. However, this time we were very disappointed, ordering and delivery were very good, but the quality of the summerhouse was not as we expected. It took a lot of adjustment to get it right, there are some small splits in the wood which we will have to weatherproof and the roofing felt split very easily so we have had to purchase extra Problem is you just don’t want the hassle of returning something this big so you tend to sort it yourself, but adding up all the faults with hindsight maybe we should have Despite all the issues the finished project looks okay But don’t think it will be as robust as our previous one

  Really bad company! I ordered 2 weeks ago to get delivered tomorrow. Booked a day off work to get a phone call less then 12 hours before to say they haven’t booked it in. I asked for them to send another shed no reply! They now claim they don’t have the timber and they can’t have it delivered for another month!

  Supposed to take delivery a few weeks ago and lost a days pay.. No delivery.. Apparently driver not turned up or not answering phone.. They couldn't decide which was true.. No one contacted me.. Complained.. Another date booked.. Guess what.. No delivery.. Call to say driver not turned up.. Another days pay lost.. Apparently they will deliver tomorrow. I doubt they will and I doubt I'll ever see a refund.. Absolutely disgusting.. steer clear of this company.. I'll be reporting them to ombudsman tomorrow!!!!!!
