Small maritime museum displaying lots of items found or salvaged from local wrecks. This is a sore point for me due to my personal beliefs, but I enjoyed the museum immensely and hope to return and visit again. The staff were passionate and very helpful. I enjoyed chatting with them and taking the time to find out more about the museum. There were exhibits on some of the local wrecks, such as the A1 submarine, and it was excellent to see the respect paid to the crews through the exhibits. Part of the museum was the owner/ salvager talking about different exhibits and parts of the museum. This video was engrossing, with a lot of additional information about the artefacts. Some labels were factual incorrect (read as simplified for the general public), but accurate.
