Haven’t issued my refund for a return in spite of chasing. Edit: as they note, they did finally get in touch this morning after I contacted again and mentioned a chargeback. But they ignored my initial refund request, then the first chase email after returning. I’d just steer clear unless you want hassle.

I have baught a ball from this place, and he told us to fill it with air whenever it becomes out of gas....that was before purchasing... One minute later after my husband baught it, my son wanted to return it as it was very light after filling with gas...so he got very angry and started telling racist words to us....as we are Muslims....we left .... Today, 2 months later, i stepped by his shop to fill it with gas...he said he has no filling anymore....and refused to fill it for us....although he still has the filling machine....and the same balls...!!!!....That made me feel that all because i am veiled Muslim woman!!! That shouldn't happen in great UK....

Shoes made by Chatham failed less than three weeks into ownership. Photographs of the problem were taken, making all very clear (the upper had come away from the sole). I was required to send the shoes back to the manufacturer before replacements could be sent out. Some three weeks later nothing received. Shipmates have effectively hidden from their responsibilities as supplier during this time – my purchase and contract was with them; not the manufacturer/their supplier. Their messages merely served to shift blame, instead of being upfront, taking ownership of the problem, and properly looking after their customer. At the time of writing this, I have still not received a refund. As ‘tangible’ compensation they offered a 10% discount on a future purchase – this (or similar) is available to any customer if they subscribe to newsletter.
