If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. Save your money please! Firstly, the prices you see online aren’t the same in person. It’s more expensive. There was no customer service at all! We got the food and that was it. The food was super bland. It was 6 of us and we got a variety of different foods. Every single dish was bland…..no Flavour and no seasoning. overpriced and definitely a huge disappointment. Hands down worst Indian food I’ve ever had.

The food was pretty great and very reasonably priced for Knightsbridge. However, the service was a bit inattentive (the food arrived promptly, though). The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous, but it was freezing in some places (like the bathrooms, which were clean but in dire need of an update). We ordered the Lahori chicken (bbq), the lamb karhai, and the pulao rice. Also, split a garlic naan between us. Can't fault the food at all. It was lovely and authentic Pakistani food (even though I believe they've also marketed it as Indian). The portions were substantial, and this was more food than my friend and I could finish. The chutneys and achaar that the complimentary pappad came with in the beginning were to die for - I didn't want them to take them away even after the pappad were long gone. The atmosphere was cheerful, but I did not see many dressed up people besides me and my friend. I'm always disappointed when that happens but that's obviously not the restaurant's fault. Just letting anyone know that if you are looking for a place to go to all dressed up, this probably isn't it. It's still a classy joint, so maybe leave the puffer coats at home (a notice a lot of their clientele would have been well-served with). I think this place would have gotten five stars from me had their staff been a bit more attentive (I don't like jumping up and down in my seat to grab anyone's attention), and if they did something about those freezing entrance areas and bathrooms.

One of worst Indian food experiences in London. Once we were seated, we asked the serving lady for tap water, which never arrived, and 15 mins later we had to remind them again. I asked the older serving lady if “Murgh Makhani” in their menu is “Butter chicken” (which it translates to in authentic Indian restaurants) or “Chicken tikka masala”. She rudely replied it is the same thing for them and they’ll serve what they have. (I had just asked this innocently just to be sure of what I’ll be served). From the breads menu, I requested for Paneer naan. But in fact, what I got was a cheese naan with plain cheese slices melted inside naan bread. This is not what a Paneer naan is. So very unauthentic menu and what is served is not what it says on the menu. And last but not the least- there was no salt in the food. Literally zero salt. I asked the server for some salt, and he brought some but also mentioned “we keep salt low as it causes high blood pressure”. Definitely not the kind of thing I want to hear. Overall, not recommended at all.

Great Pakistani-Indian cuisine and good wine selection. A must in London if you are up to a good slow cooked lamb.
