Put car in for service. Not the cheapest but great to get a full heath check included. Send you a video detailing condition of tyres brake wear suspension and exhaust. A couple of small issues spotted that could be sorted before they became bigger ones. End of the day I’m happy to spend money keeping an older car on the road - cheaper than replacing it. Plus they clean it as well.

This garage priced my MOT work at over £1100. As a sensible human I shopped around - successfully completed all work on my car that was suggested for £350 with legitimate parts and passed MOT. It deeply disturbs me that there are unfortunate people who hear a price and think they have to pay that not knowing that this must be the most expensive labour for parts on the planet. For example 1 single tyre without VAT or fitting £66. I got two at Barrys Tyres including VAT and fitting for £91. I could go on. However - The lads working are all lovely and said as much themselves to shop around!
