My whole family has been with this Practice for many years, including the previous Bearwood site. I cannot thank the Doctors and nursing staff enough. Two of us have had serious ill-health issues over the past couple of years and Sherwood House have done all that they had to help; particularly Dr Irfan, both in general medical care an in liaising with Hospital Departments to ensure the best outcome that he can. We all appreciate that the pandemic and recent strikes by doctors and nurses have put a strain on the system, one which the Practice has largely had to bear, but in my opinion they have coped very well under the stress. Don't forget that it is the Receptionists that bear the brunt of the customer facing pressure as they are usually the first point of contact. With regard to the Practice premises, they are modern, spacious and well equipped; just as they should be.

Waited in a phone queue for 31 minutes, when I got through the receptionist hung up after around 3 seconds, I then walked to the surgery and was told they are only taking phone calls and won't talk to me face-to-face. Shambolic.

This is the worst surgery I have yet to come across . My mum is registered with them. She has been out of her diabetes meds for over a week and they are refusing to see her or prescribe the medication. She is depressed and struggling to reach them and all they ask her to do is to raise a complaint. It’s disgusting. If anything happens to my mum because she not taking her diabetes meds they are to blaim.

This practice is barely fit for purpose as a result of their reception staff. DO NOT join it like I did. You will waist hours on hold and will then be met by abrupt staff who treat you with little regard. I simply do not understand why the reception staff can't speak to their patients in a more kind and friendly way.
