A big thank you to Harry at Sherwani King for the superb service provided and making the experience stress-free. In other shops it can often feel like you don't have the full attention of the staff, but this isn't the case at Sherwani King as they have an appointment system where it's only you and Harry in the shop. This definitely means you get the best customer service experience. The quality of the sherwani range was fantastic. Harry took great time and effort to explain the different sherwani styles and accessories. What I appreciated was Harry also made the effort to explain the little things, like how to walk and sit with the sherwani on for my big day. The impression the website gives you is that this brand is quite exclusive with its designs as well as high end of the market in terms of quality of product and price however, the reality is far from it from a quality of product perspective. The sherwani designs/styles are very similar to clothing in other local shops in Birmingham/London/Bradford, however, costing a lot more for far less quality, therefore ruling out a sherwani from here. The tuxedo jackets are nice, but the trousers and white shirt (which is £100 extra) feel awful and very cheap - what a way to ruin a really good 3 piece tuxedo by having sub standard products. When we mentioned this to Harry, he stated he would charge £100 less for no trousers, so the jacket and a thin waistcoat, which both are made abroad, are worth £1,000? Really 🤦🏻♂️ Harry is a nice guy, polite and helpful but if you're paying £1,100+ for a 3 piece outfit, you want it all to be quality and not just some of it and if you want the jacket alone, be prepared for an even more laughable quote.
