This trip round Birmingham's canals is absolutely fascinating, with Informative commentary on the building of the canal network and the industrial history of the area. The loop also takes in a quiet, pleasant section of the old canal which is only accessible by boat and where we saw wildlife including several herons. Two cons: the boat is very tired, with worn carpets and seating; and the recorded commentary was slightly out of sync with the cruise, so it was referring to landmarks after we had passed them. But a very enjoyable experience nevertheless.

(B1 2EA is location of boat! Not the address listed on google map) No idea of how good/bad the boat ride is, due to the address taking me to the offices and not the location of the boat. The "How to find us" area of this site needs to be more clear for mobile phone users, who are shown a map of where the office is not where the boat ride is, with only one tiny mention of the correct post code so we missed the trip. In fact the office address is listed on every page and is the location google maps take you too, when it should be B1 2EA, this really need improving.

£10 per adult!! Other boats, discovered too late were charging £6 pp. Relaxing trip on a spacious narrow boat though, for a hour. Very little commentary so pretty boring through scruffy graffiti bits. Customer experience needs improving with more commentary and fixing up the torn seats.

It says close at 5pm and 1/2 hour per boat. The lady on phone said last one departed at 4pm. Then please update your business hours or work harder (i.e. no need to finish business so early)

Great narrowboat cruises boat hour trips and a little waterbus for half hour trips in and around Birmingham. Great party hire boats for hen parties etc, offering food and music..staff are amazing to give you memorable times

Booked a ride on the canal barge at Sherborne Wharf, was an interesting tour of Birmingham canals the tour is pretty much automated, and lasts about 65 minutes. There is a bar on board to where you can purchase soft drinks and alcohol tea and coffee. Was a nice little day out.
