A superb, local family run business. I have used Sheppard's Family Butchers on a number of occasions and I have been very impressed every time. Friendly staff, first class service and competitive prices for high quality meats. Notably, the gammon joint I bought from their at Christmas was one of the best I have purchased and went down very well with family and friends. I will definitely be going back!

Really lovely place with a great selection of meat and pies. I've used them several times now and always had great food and top service. I had a BBQ recently, had a selection of Sausages, Chicken, Burger and Kebabs (chicken and lamb). Sausages were incredible, several types. Chicken was juicy and cut as required. Burgers were very beefy very little shrinkage. Kebabs i personally didn't try, but looked amazing and had great reviews from the rest of the BBQ guests! Had a steak pie as well a few months ago, was very tasty. Proper chunks of steak! Looking forward to my next trip.

I've used this butchers twice and won't be using again. Both times staff were extremely rude, unhelpful and caused me to feel extremely uncomfortable. The 2nd time was particularly awful, a member of staff was pretty aggressive. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. I have never been to such an unwelcoming shop nor have I ever been made to feel so uncomfortable whilst trying to spend money in someone's shop. The meat is mediocre at best and EXTREMELY over priced. Safe to say I won't be shopping local again.
