    Such a lovely mosque, it's been central to the Muslim community of Shepherd's Bush for over 40 years. I remember going there as a young child and the mosque had not yet had a building and the roof was being held up as corrugated sheets of metal and concrete floors covered with loose mats. Now there is thick carpet, very simple decor and functional shelves and bookcases. The main imam is a lovely pious man who is a well respected pillar of the community and an example for Muslims everywhere. This is a popular mosque where often they have to expand prayer space into the rear paved garden. Parking nearby is not free during the day. But there is parking after Mon-Sat 6:30pm on nearby single yellows.

    Beautiful masjid Mashallah, it needs to buy adjacent buildings to build a proper masjid. Praying in basement is not good for Muslims social health
