I use to live here back in the 90s not going to lie i hated every moment of it it wasnt alla secure unit though my unit was called oral house looks like been bulldozed now from what pictures iv seen .bit sat really but such as life i guess often i think of when i lived here wasnt all bad i guess but wasnt the best time of my life yano .love to get intouch with some the girls who were there back in 1996/1997

I used to hang about with a scouce girl who was boss and her mum lived in Merton bank Road we all hung out on the 204 hour garage and I'd ran away and the police were showing a photo of me. Police got me took me back home from behind the ship Inn and my mum tells them she doesn't want me back 😒 bearing in mind I was 14 now 44 on June 2nd

I was in Gérard unit in 1988 when it was part of blackbrook house school for girls. I started off in the secure unit which was called laboure house. Then went into the independent unit Marian house. The big building that faced Gérard house was where we went to school. There was also de paul unit. hostel house and orrell house.

Well well well Even though its weird when you first go They are so supportive and never give up on you as they want you to do well the education. Is better than the other unit I was at and the food is good for a unit I still ring them when they answer I hope you still looking after my gerbils ❤️

I was here for 11 months and a half and i didn't expect coming to such a big place like this i was scared but when i got to know the staff they was lovely they was always there for me when i needed them,, and i appreciate all of you staff i miss my favorite staff but we can't stay there forever but it has changed my life to not doing the things i did and now im getting on what i need to do i rate this place alot thank you all of you for looking after me 💓
