They just point blank refuse to help if your English. There words were as a male who is born here with no medical issues I'm not classed as vulnerable thus not able to provide any assistance. Mid winter. They probably receive millions in donations aswell and the city is filling up with homeless I challenge anyone to walk Birmingham Town centre and explain to me where all the money for the homeless is going.

The organisation itself has great ethics, but the Birmingham office is truly awful. The staff were very rude and dismissive. Steer clear of a manager by the name of Emma Poursain. Incredibly condescending, rude and frankly she should be sacked. I will never return no matter how desperate I get.

This so called charity doesn't serve its purpose. Apparently it is not providing any same day service at the moment, neither do they bother to call back though they say they would. I hope the government is not lavishing it with grants and funds as it really is a useless organisation. Don't bother wasting time. From the number of homeless in Birmingham and UK, it's obvious they are not doing their jobs, just getting paid by taxpayers for doing nothing.

Unhelpful Shelter, they wasted my time and I paid car parking 3 times... due I lived 8 miles far. Because they didn't answer to phone, I'm was there, but they didn't help me with nothing! Just booked appointment for after 2 days. When I'm was at appointment after 2 days, they told me is very busy and to come back next week!!! I'm was again 3rd time, but incompetent staff sent me to other Shelter, which, you guessed, they said can't help me, but give me advice to find and pay a lawyer. I have a suspicion about Shelter staff, probably they don't take salary from our taxes, but they are paid by the expensive car parks nearby. :))))
