Don't expect your deposit back. Seems like they're taking advantage of students who don't know any better. Awful experience with very invasive staff and an incredibly strict tenancy agreement. Customer service skills entirely lacking and had an experience similar to what other negative reviews have stated. I wouldn't be surprised if they have managed to get some bad reviews deleted like other people have said too.

Were good about fixing things and acting as professional landlords, however found their office staff thoroughly unfriendly and unpleasant which ruined the whole experience. Update: Seeing as they like to respond trying to scare people into changing their reviews with lies. I had a broken key and was charged £50 to be let back in to move my stuff out by the deadline. The house was clean, mattress was in the same state it was when moving in. Obviously trying to get back because I didn't take their attitude lying down. Unfriendly and unpleasant office staff throughout our tenancy, hence why we changed landlords as soon as the agreement was up.

The only reason this company has so many good reviews is because they literally paid their tenants £20 to write one (FACT) PLEASE READ: Me and my housemates had such an awful experience with this company! The property manager has absolutely no compassion (she even proudly admitted this herself) and no customer service skills. She does not care about students and I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this company or you will regret it. We unfortunately found this out on the very first day we moved in as we realised they purposely didn’t show us that the fridge was kept in a horrible, disgusting cellar when we viewed the house. Upon realising this my mom was concerned and phoned to complain and the property manager was very rude and even hung up on her! They even tried to call us liars and said they did show us where the fridge was kept when we viewed the house (they absolutely did not, otherwise we would have never chosen that house) When our house was burgled the manager blamed us (even though our front door was locked and they broke a window to enter) and told us she had no sympathy and simply didn’t care. One of our housemates was a nightmare to live with and sheffield student property were absolutely no help! We were often blamed for the mess and destruction he caused in the property! And we were basically told we should be cleaning up after him. They are not lenient at all with rent, etc. as I have already stated that they do not care about students or our struggles! One of my housemates was even questioned by the property manager as to what she was spending her money on when she couldn’t afford to pay the full rent one month and was extremely rude and inappropriate about it. When we were moving out, after taking hours to scrub the place and make it clean for the new tenants (yes, we had to do all the cleaning, as apparently they weren’t getting a cleaner in!) this made us a bit late moving out (as we did not expect it to take so long to clean and our nightmare housemate refused to clean up, even though 90% of that mess was his!) The property manager threatened us with illegal things such as locking our belongings in the property and never being able to get them back. We then received an email from the property manager that stated we apparently left the house in a state and that we will be charged. They were extremely rude when we tried to contest this and we were so annoyed since we spent so long cleaning up! However, the owner of the property saw nothing wrong with the state the property was left in, so we weren’t charged. These are just some of the examples as to why this company made my second year of uni a complete nightmare. Do not use them.

The staff offer a great range of student accommodation in and around the best areas in Sheffield. They also do pet friendly accommodation which is really cool as nobody wants to abandon their pets! Would recommend!
