On my first and only session she immediately separated my mother and I although get social anxiety and she was a complete stranger to me. Then, when we began our session she immediately began talking about how not attending school is illegal (I was not attending school at the time and had just expressed to her that rule breaking makes me extremely distressed). She continued with this subject despite the obvious and abundant silent tears rolling down my cheek all while keeping a placid smile. I was so upset I even considered running away which I have never done before and is completely out of character for me. Then after the session she claimed to my mother that she had no idea I was school avoidant although she made a comment earlier which she could not have said if this was true(I do not remember the comment though). Even my mother thought it was strange because she didn't think she'd send me to a therapist without prior informing them of this key information on my life. The second I got in the car I started sobbing heavily and insisted I never return again . Luckily this was my first and only session. But she did correctly identify me as possibly autistic so I guess that counts for something.
