We were camping in the touring field. Loads of space 😊 Clean toilets/showers Very poor lighting ☹️ is absolutely pitch black at night. Almost fell going up steps to the toilet as you can't see. Tip: Take wellies with you, grass is quite high, field was boggy, trainers ruined ☹️ Safety: The trail from country park to Hastings is VERY long, VERY STEEP in places and NOT suitable if you have mobility issues. I think this should be stated in big bold letters on their maps. With the heavy rain the day before, it was treacherous 😪

Touring park: sanitary facilities neither up to date nor practical (e.g. showering impossible without getting your clothes drenched) nor sufficiently clean. Soft (grass) pitches require 4WD or helpful neighbours after prolonged rain. Town is a reasonably short walk away, on-site food and shop more than adequate. Would gladly return but only off-season.

All in all a dispointing stay.. most concerning was the maintenance blokes sitting in the van for 25mins outside a toilet block, didn't get out and do any work and seemed to drive around aimlessly most the time.. received an email with the security code only for it to get incorrect. Toilet blocks are cleaned in 5mins flat and are dated/ tired!

(Translated by Google) Nice campsite. Simple but clean toilets and showers. We immediately got stuck on the grass pitch. But there was also very nice and quick help. Friendly children's program. Absolutely British flair. (Original) Schöner Campingplatz. Einfache, aber saubere Toiletten und duschen. Wir haben uns auf dem Grasplatz sofort festgefahren. Es kam aber auch sehr nette & schnelle Hilfe. Sympathisches Kinderprogramm. Absolut britisches Flair.
