    First time in The Steam Machine Brewing Co tonight, and it was brilliant. We got an invite from a mate and he showed us around and educated us on how things work. Not sure on a beer, have a sample. It’s truly refreshing change to a pub. I’m not really a drinker, so I went for the Strawberry cider. My Mrs tried a few different beers and and eventually chose some she’d have through the night. We sat down and decided on what to eat. The staff were all great, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful.This is a full on working brewery, everything is real. It was genuinely interesting looking about. The place was cosy warm and had a fantastic atmosphere. Well done to the owners and staff. The food and drink were really decent quality. A decent amount and very tasty. We will definitely be returning. My only problem with my review would be I really want to keep this place a little gem. A little mention to Jay Murray. He was ace tonight. The second time we’ve seen him. I can assure him that it wasn’t my last date. Been happily married for 24 years.🤭😂 Edit. Returned and enjoyed a Sunday dinner. This place is just soooo good.
