I went over today ( 19/04/23: 10.30)to recycle some garden soil and waste. A nice guy outside the front checked my Council Tax bill and my driving licence. All ok, so In I went.... When I opened my boot I noticed a man in Hi Viz, who worked at the centre, helping a blond lady with her garden waste bags. Great, I thought. He will help me when he is finished with her. (I have a disability and use a stick so lifting the heavy bags onto the skip was going to be a problem). He finished helping the lady. He looked at me, walked away and leaned against the skip, watching the world go by 😡😡😡. However, a kind guy, who was unloading his rubbish, helped me. So the moral of this story is, if you are male and have a disability, and need to visit this recycling centre, wear a blond wig and call yourself Dolly. You will get all the help you need. If you go as a guy, no matter how disabled you are, you will have to fend for yourself. Not a great visit and certainly not a great advert for Wolverhampton and its Council who are pretty hot on equal rights and discrimination.

Twice I've visited the skip and the same bloke questions what's in the bags and I say burnable and he responsed with a nasty tone saying so there no recycle in the bags! My parents always recycle! There is ways off approaching people and clearly he hasn't got that! Also my dash cam was on and you hear the whole conversation! 🙂 Service: House & garage cleanouts
