The kids meals didn’t come with a drink like the menu said, I went to the bar and told one of the staff who basically shrugged me off and made me pay for 2 extra kids drinks, the meals come out cold and “as much gravy as you like” is about 2 tablespoons I did ask for more but the waitress never come back. Kids chicken strips are 2 chicken strips with a few chips and 2 slices of cucumber, I would understand if it was busy but it was quite quiet

Friendly staff, its a nice place and welcoming but just needs a bit more attention to details to make it a go too place. It has lots of potential. Food can be average to good, It's a bit like they say on Masterchef. Sorry,it looks good but you've overcooked the pie. The pork belly is nice but it's not hot and I would like more of it. These carrots look old and withered and add no value to the presentation. Service is order and pay at the bar, which could be changed to improve the service. I would add that we have infrequently visited this pub off and on over the years as we live close by.

Absolutely lovely, I rang in the morning to make sure we could bring in cakes for the two birthday girls the lady I spoke to on the phone was lovely and so friendly, the server Alisha was lovely my brother in law suffers with a sea food allergy and she was so helpful, there was two birthdays in our party and the ladies who helped us with the cakes was great All around great experience
