For an charity that doesn't charge admission, this site is impressive! Friendly staff, thoughtful displays with some interactive elements, good explanations of what you are looking at and a film of the history of the site. We (75, 74, 40, 39, 10 and 7 years old) were all impressed. The gift shop sells local artists produce and they are actively looking for suggestions of how to make the site even better. The tea room serves good food and drink which is reasonably priced.

Interesting small museum exploring the history of the local pottery industry. Some magnificent exhibits that are more than a match for the more well known potteries such as Moorcroft. Great tea rooms with homemade food, their sausage rolls are out of the world, and friendly staff.
