    me and my friends went for a wonderful meal at shapla tandoori, the food was absolutely delicious, the venue was beautiful, and their menu is amazing, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options at such a reasonable price. the staff were so friendly and accommodating, mohammed and abdul are both lovely people and we can't wait to go back to try what we didnt get on the menu this time. if you want an authentic indian meal you will not be disappointed when you come here!

    Best Indian restaurant we've found locally! The food was very tasty! The dips that came with the popadums were divine. We especially liked the red tamarind sauce out of the selection. We had chicken tikka and a sheer kebab to start and the favour of the herbs and spices all came through wonderfully. We had saag aloo, saag paneer and chick manchurian and a peswari naan for our main, all of which were delightful flavour experiences in their own right. The jug of mango lassi we shared was perfectly crafted and super tasty! Abdul served us and was very attentive throughout our time there. We can't recommend this place enough and hope you enjoy your time there as much as we did!

    We ordered a meal for two via the app to collect on a Sunday evening, and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. We went to collect the food and were told it would be 'a few minutes', but we ended up waiting over an hour in the restaurant for it to be ready. We were told periodically that it would be 'a few more minutes' and were given a drink to wait with, but the wait within the restaurant was unacceptable especially as they kept telling us the food would be ready in a minute when in fact it was an hour late. The food itself was OK, with the exception of the vegetarian curry which was incredibly watery and bland. This was our first time getting food from here and sadly we will not be returning.
