I generally dont give review of masjids but on this occasion i felt there was a need to especially for those who have concern for their salat as a musafir (traveller). I came in today at around half 12 to quickly pray my salat; when I arrived the "maulana" was teaching some children. The reason for using inverted commas is because i was denied simply because the maulana was reluctant to open the rooms upstairs. Taking into consideration this mosque (which is also meant to be a community centre) is one of the closest to the busy euston station. So inevitably those who want to pray will come in. As a masjid is built for this very same purpose to allow worshippers to pray it was only befitting that something is organised to meet their needs. Fair enough somebody may argue that it cant be open 24/7 for safety reasons but what excuse are we going to present whilst an ustadh is already inside a building. Please many people cant always make it for jamaat time so plz organise something for the musafireen (as this masjid and shahjalal are the closest ones and theyre both lazy in this regards). So for those planning a trip to the mosque before its jamaat time you probably may experience the same thing i went through today. Assalamualaikum

Nice little masjid near Euston station. I think it has 3 floors. In the basement is the toilets and wahdu area and a small prayer room. Small prayer rooms on the other floors. Gets very busy for Friday prayers There is limited pay by phone parking in Starcross Street. No space for sisters to pray

With all due respect there is a mosque that is 10 minutes away and opposite a coffee shop that I recommend and friendly. The only reason is that if you're uncontrollably late(traffic), that mosque is still open in between salah’s whereas this one is not. I called multiple times and got no answer. So save yourself some time.
