Bit weird. Tikka massala tasted and looked like BBQ spare ribs. Far too sweet and sticky. Veg biryani just flavourless. I haven't had a good curry in York for a while. This is pretty much the worst. Yet somehow when we ordered they said they were "very busy", so someone must like it.

While I am not widely traveled and certainly no expert on Indian cuisine, I am convinced that Shahi makes the best Tikka Masala in the whole world. It is so delicious that my wife and I nearly gave the middle name “shahi” to our new born child. If Shahi Tandoori was around in Ancient Greece, their poets would have lauded their Tikka Masala. If they had a shop on Mars, America would have landed there before the moon. And If a house ever comes for sale nearby, you can be sure we will move there in a heartbeat

Worst tandoori I ever had, wish I'd read other reviews before ordering, I agree with all other negative comments, poor poor poor, mono flavoured, never again, should be ashamed, I bet they would not eat this themselves, so why serve it and charge us for it?

It was the worst meal I've ever ordered. I only took 1 spoon from the food and couldn't swallow it they put too much salt in it £25 I paid, I'm sorry that my money went to waste.
