Absolutely beautiful location, feels like you are in your own world yet you have some many things to do on the doorstep. Perfect for dog lovers and the dog walking fields straight from the door were great for a quick morning run off. Can't fault our stay, thank you so much for a fantastic weekend

Fantastic accommodation with great facilities. Stayed as a group of 8 (4 adults & 4 children) couldn’t have asked for a better property. The little touches the host provided & communication before the stay is first class. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous weekend with friends staying in the milking parlour at Shady Hall Farm. Prosecco and home made scones on arrival were just one of the little touches that made the weekend so special. The house was spotless, beautifully renovated and had even been decorated for Christmas. Communication with the host, Chloe, was excellent from the moment of booking right to when we checked out. The garden is very private, perfect for the hot tub. The living room is stunning with a log fire which was amazing at this time of year. The kitchen is fully equipt which was perfect for making Christmas dinner for 6. The 3 rooms were again so clean, big and very well furnished. I couldn't recommend this little getaway more and will be booking again for sure !

We stayed at the Milking Parlour for a family weekend away and I can honestly say it's by far the best cottage/lodge we have ever stayed at. Prosecco and scones (with cream and jam) waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The cottage itself, was stunning and very clean. Living room was very cosy with a log fire, kitchen was spacious and well designed with 3 big bedrooms. We took our 4 dogs with us and they absolutely loved it, nice private garden (with hottub) so they could run around and chloe even let us take them upto the field that the family owed. We will definitely be booking again for next year, it's now our new favourite getaway.

We had a great time at Shady Hall Farm. We stayed in the Milking Parlour which was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for the stay. The garden is a good size and all enclosed so our dogs loved it. The bedrooms were all a spacious and the whole building has been renovated to an excellent standard. Our host (Chloe) was excellent, responding within minutes to any queries we had and very friendly. She also let us have a look at the Cow shed which is another 3 bed cottage that was all open plan. We would definitely look to stay in that one next time. Well worth a stay in either. Thank you Chloe for a great weekend.
