Went for a curry there last night Poppadoms good.. curry bad I had a lamb Madras meat was tough and sauce was inedible it was so hot and it was bright pink now I like a curry a hot one but I couldn't eat this so I shall be going back to the Star of India in sawbridgeworth.. is the best curry around.. my friends curry was even hotter than mine it's a shame because there's such nice people..

Went for the Sunday buffet. I haven't been for 15+years. The tandoori chef needs praising.. excellent chicken tikka a superb tandoori roti. The buffet had mixed starters which were served, then a good array of curries including excellent niramish, a mixed veg curry. I was surprised not see a dal or chick pea dish. The food is spiced so that anyone can eat all of it, but staff were able to provide green chillies to spice it toy taste.
