I had the most incredible experience with Emma! I loved every minute we spent with her whilst trying to find my wedding dress! Whilst we were there she had all these great ideas and truly made me feel incredible whilst trying the dresses on! I really love the fact the Emma hand picks all the dresses she brings in so you know she really loves them and loves what she does! I only wish I could carry on trying more on and go back and be mesmerised by all the gorgeous dresses! I would recommend her to anyone getting married to try dresses on with Emma! She also made me feel as though if I wasn’t able to find my dress with her, she would be able to point me in the right direction of what would have suited me and what else I could try - she truly was like a fairy godmother x

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Emma is just the nicest lady you could meet. After going to 10 other bridal boutiques and being disappointed I went to the Shade Bridal Boutique and I was blown away with the dresses. I actually fell in love with all of them, the dresses are all stunning. Emma took the time to make me feel relaxed and genuinely from start to finish helped me so much. She even organised to get my mother in laws dress altered after we were let down. Emma goes above and beyond

Emma and her dresses are second to none! The attention she gave my friend was outstanding. Not only does she put her brides at ease but she listens, actually listens, and make dress suggestions along the way. From the moment we walked in she was wonderful, even when I broke a glass. Emma really cares for her brides and it's obvious her passion for her job is boundless. The boutique is spotless, the dresses are stunning with a huge selection of styles, each dress is in perfect condition and a 2 hour appointment was such fun. My friend said yes to the dress and I couldn't be happier as other appointments afterwards paled into insignificance I am afraid. The boutique is wonderful, the dresses ( the girls) are amazing and well priced but the true gem at this boutique is Emma with her advice, support and true care for her brides. This was as it should be....fun, respectful and a true wow experience for my friend. Thank you Emma!

Emma at Shade bridal is amazing; the whole experience from first walking into the shop, chatting about styles, picking off the rail and then trying on the gowns, it’s exactly how wedding dress shopping should be! Emma’s advice and opinions are second to none, if only she did other clothing I’d be in there every week! I found out I was pregnant 4 months after buying my wedding dress. Emma was brilliant throughout, putting me at ease and coming up with several solutions to ensure I could still wear my perfect dress. She went above and beyond to help me and at 33 weeks pregnant I got married in the dress I had originally chosen. Emma you are one of the best 💕

Fantastic service! Emma always made sure that my fiancé and I felt welcome from our first appointment. The dresses at Shade are very exquisite, which was something I didn't expect in the Midlands. I found myself saying yes to the dress without having to look elsewhere! They are a tad pricey, but totally worth it for the details. Emma goes above and beyond with her service. She welcomed me back during my dress fitting with a personalised sign-board and (real) gold-leaf drink?!!! She sent my veil to my seamstress to make pick-up easier and recommends the most professional seamstress and dry cleaner. Brides can even drop off their wedding dress after the wedding to be cleaned by the dry cleaners. A perfect way to describe Shade boutique is a one-stop shop! I don't know how she does everything by herself! I would definitely recommend Shade Bridal Boutique for East Midlands brides (or further if you are willing to travel, it will be worth it!)
