I attended the Complete Beginners Course in April 2023. It was fantastic! Brianna, the tutor, was really knowledgable and able to explain things in a clear way. The course totally demystified the world of sewing and I came away feeling I had learned a new skill. I can't wait to learn more and have booked another course in May.

I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to learn how to sew or needed help with their personal project like myself. I’ve originally enrolled to Essential Alternation course which left me knowing how to alter my trousers, change zips etc. After enjoying the classes I’ve booked few 1-1 sessions with Danuta and honestly can’t recommend her enough. During our time together not only I was able to gain necessary skills to finish the project I was working on but also left with the enormous amount of knowledge. Danuta is incredibly skilled and always does her best to help you make the product the way you’ve imagined. On top of that she is a very patient and encouraging tutor. These classes were probably the best investment I’ve made in awhile!

Had my first sewing session yesterday and Donica was an absolute star! I’m a complete beginning with zero sewing experience and Donica guided us through the entire process of using a sewing machine. I had a lot of fun and I can now confidently say that sewing isn’t that daunting once you get the hang of it! I can’t wait to show my nan what I made 🤩

Loved the alterations class with Danuta, it's so great to learn from a pro! The class was small enough for proper learning but big enough to meet some friendly people, the class was suited to my level (know how to use a sewing machine, made a few basic items before), and it's also in a lovely creative space. Would 100% recommend!
