I don’t often write reviews, however i felt this I must, I work in a sales/service industry and hope I work with the same ethos as this family run business to find a good product, suitable for their needs, at a fair price…. I’d been thinking of upgrading my overlocker of 30yrs for some time and found Bob, Shirley and Ian at Sew Devine online last Saturday morning. My very patient husband and I arrived on Saturday 13th less than one hr before their closing time of 2pm. Ian came to help and demonstrate a brother overlocker, no mention of closing time, he diligently went through all the pros and cons, whilst Shirley made coffee, (we left after 3:30, no sales pressure, just information to make our choice) with a Brother Airflow 3000 ordered as I decided to up my game, and it was delivered today Weds 17th…. Thank you so much for your good old fashioned values of a family run business, I will tell all my friends and customers where to go if they need a new sewing machine….I’ll certainly be back for another machine, maybe a coverstitch or embroidery machine…

Had an amazing time exploring this quaint little shop in Reading UK. Great collection of antique sewing machines and beautiful new ones as well. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Their prices were very reasonable. They certainly deserve a vist, if you happen to be in the area.

WOW was in urgent need for some trims to finish a dress up outfit in a bit of a hurry. Tried ebay but so expensive and not trusting the post I suddenly remembered this little treasure. Some reviews describe it as aladins cave could not sum it up better. The lady in the shop could not have been more helpful. Thank you it is refreshing to find shops like this still as so limited in this area now. Will be returning soon. THANK YOU!
