    Edit: The company has been in touch and have tried to resolve the issues. Although I haven't taken the car back as the problem seems to have subsided, I was happy with the effort of trying to resolve the matter. I never enjoy leaving a "bad" review. But it's only fair to allow a customer to express their experience. When I called to book the car in, the manager was very polite and I was booked in within 2 days which was great. He also was very smiley and polite when I turned up on the day. So, the problem I had for 2 weeks, typically, subsided a day before it was due to be seen in the garage. However, I gave the garage all the information that I possibly could, albeit not much to go on and thought they could check it over and give me peace of mind. However, they called me two hours later having said they drove the car to Wellingborough and couldn't see the problem. I asked if they had looked under the bonnet and the answer was no because they couldn't see the point. As much as I appreciate them not doing any unnecessary work; I thought a once over wouldn't have hurt given the fact it is a garage and that's why it was in. When I went to pick up the car, I waited and waited, pressed the bell as instructed by the sign, knocked and waited and waited. Once I was seen, the mechanic was nice enough and reiterated what the manager had said on the phone that morning. However, he then took a personal phonecall in front of me about his rent. I understand we're all having a tough time financially but, come on, ask them to call back in 2 minutes. It then took a short minute to find my car key. The mechanic was also less than impressed that I wasn't charged due to his time being used. Although I can appreciate that "time is money", my bonnet wasn't even lifted, no work was done and it was my petrol that was used. So I appreciated not being charged and am genuinely pleased by this. When I got in the car (parked in the exact same spot - curious?) my dash cam was unplugged and tilted upwards to the sky. This was extremely frustrating because how do I know my car was driven properly? Not to mention the fact that if an accident had happened, there would be no proof and god forbid a speeding ticket comes through. It's not just a car; it's a persons livelihood. - I cannot leave a review on their skillset of actual work so it would be unfair to make any comment on that front. But overall, compared to other garages I have been to, I'd debate going back based on this experience. I can see that they have a lot of positive reviews so perhaps this was just an unfortunate experience.

    My van had a noise, asked them to check it out. Called me and said they hadnt investigated the noise as they found an error with my engine management light on, but it would cost me £4.5k to get sorted. I checked their site and it states information about DPF filters which contradicts what i was told on the phone. I called and questioned and they couldnt tell me how they got to £4.5k. If this was someone who didnt look in to things, they would have lost out on a lot of money. I picked my van up and told them i wasnt happy.. they didnt care and just wanted payment. Now im £84.00 down for them plugging a diagnostic machine in and doing nothing else. Ive taken my van (which didnt have the engine management light on like they said) to another garage and got everything sorted for £300. UPDATE: Thanks for your response to my review. Unfortunately I am unable to reply to your response. However, to confirm the information provided in your response makes no difference to what I have written. The cost wasnt broken down to me when i asked how the cost was so steep. It worked out as £2000 labour for bolting on a DPF filter. I also expressed dissatisfaction when collecting my van - going from the information on your website, it was the owner or the manager that was at the desk when I said i dont believe i should be paying for half a job. Nothing was said. From investigation carried out by the other garage, the issue was an oil pump. The van had already had a new DPF and therefore would have still had problems. Threats wont work with me, so please dont make them. If an honest review is what you dont want against your company, i can happily remove this for a refund of £84.00. If this isnt something you are prepared to do, my honest review shall remain.
