Had my helix done about a week and a half ago. Went for a check up 6 days later because it swelled up loads even the bone behind my ear was all red and swollen… one of the ladies that worked there said that it just need changing to a plastic bar but kept the metal ball on there… all seemed a bit rushed to be completely honest. I then woke up the next day and it got worse. Went to a private pharmacist and got told I have an infection which had spread to the bone behind my ear & it could’ve been a lot worse and turned into sepsis very quickly & says it might have been caught just in time. I would’ve thought that if you are qualified you would know that this kind of thing isn’t normal. Service: Ear piercing
