Shocking yard.....I moved there with the joy of a 24/7 turn out, but when I arrived had to beg for turn out.....I was a aloud a field till midday only. I offered to erect the fencing but got told no, she was waiting for her husband who had left her 3 weeks previous. I was DIY, thank god, as a girl who arrived at the same time was on part livery, her horse was fed on a morning by the yard owners sister on a morning around 7, but the poor horse was stabled all day and not mucked out until 2pm. Avoid at all costs if you care for your horse

Left a voicemail to enquire about riding lessons, woman who phoned me back was very rude, said ‘we’re not a riding school anymore’ and hung up before I could say anything else. Maybe think about changing the website details too.

I moved my boy last Saturday to GLS, Maria and Graham have made us feel so welcome and really couldn't have done more to help us settle in. They are professional and there to lend a hand when needed. The yard is brilliant with good facilities (and very clean). We have been made to feel welcome by the other liveries too and already been out for a hack with some of them!

We booked our daughters 8th birthday party here and were very upset and angry at the un-proffessionalism. Nothing was ready ,horses or staff. There was not enough staff for the amount of children. The children had to wait 50 mins before they even got near a horse. The party had to be split into 2 seperate groups for the actual riding and werent riding at the same time so it wasnt like they were even together. There was a lack of staff and a lack of instruction. It was like nobody knew what was happening. The activities for the waiting group was poor to say the least and definately not worth what we were paying. All in all i would not advice to book a party here.
