I purchased one croissant. It was not buttery. Nor was it flakey. Nor was it warm or fresh out the oven. It was however, £4.20. I was slightly confused at first - maybe it was an error. It wasn’t. The waitress looked as shocked as me when she checked the price.

The place is situated inside the Royal Academy of arts. The decoration is great and the place is beautiful. The staff was nice and they have a nice Spanish menu wine. My favourite wine one is the Albariño. It is a must.

(Translated by Google) Nice place. The cold cuts had been cut with the skin of the sausages. (Original) Posto carino. Gli affettati erano stati tagliati con la pelle degli insaccati.

Very limited menu, all in Italian, poor service with half the party left without food.

Top Quality, great selection of sandwiches, biscuits and desserts. We went for the afternoon tea and it was absolutely splendid! I felt like I stumbled into the Wonderland. The Scones were probably the best ones I have ever had and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The lemon curd was an absolute delight and I would love to have that recipe to hand. I left smiling from ear to ear.

Amazing Italian small plates! This hidden gem within the Royal Academy of Arts has some of the best Italian small plates that I've ever tasted. Perfect for sharing (or not!), and great wine list too.

What is the Manager thinking? The chef has decided to source extremely cheap and poor quality ingredients. You would think 25 quid for three courses would be a great deal for this location. However, the food is poor quality and just not good. The bruschetta was made on, what tasted like, two day old stale bread. The olives in the main, are the blandest and cheapest olives I have ever eaten (Tesco has better). The pecorino was very young and so flavourless. The so-called “grilled” artichoke hearts tasted like they were from a can. And the 1 inch cubes of focaccia was a joke. They are obviously catering to 60-year-olds who wont complain. At any rate, this place is not worth your money.
