Very convenient from old student house in Selly Oak. Perfect to go home south, Fiveways/Broad Street, or down to New Street. If I needed to, there was even a stop to get off at University. Unlike University, I did find I would have to get to New Street inorder to get a cross country train to Bristol or Plymouth. Train fair to the centre was very cheap as a first year in Oct '18 - £1.60 each way. Times and services were always pretty reliable. Although I always brought a ticket in advance on the app; gates were often up. Latest train back from the centre was around Midnight. Very convenient to and from the University, QEH, and shopping in Selly Oak.
