    Reception staff are helpful & friendly, ringing to give reminders of appointments. Optician Kelly is professional & efficient, explaining what she’s doing and what she’s seen. I’ve never been put under pressure to buy new glasses but offered the option to look. I’d definitely recommend Selbie’s to a friend.

    Had an eye test at Selbies a couple of weeks ago and today I went to choose some glasses. I spent 45 minutes choosing the best frames to suit me with lots of helpful advice from the staff. Dawn then took me through all the options, glass thickness, varifocal positioning, anti glare options and light reactive options. This was done at a leisurely pace so I could easily make informed choices. The staff were great both friendly and efficient. I could have got glasses cheaper online but wouldn't have had the options explained properly, the eyeline positioning (can't do this online) and time. Glasses are important and in the end you get what you pay for.
