Such a great tribute to the women and men of Salisbury who made a huge difference in the war to produce these beautiful but deadly aircraft. There is a nice bench nearby to sit and think of the young men who sacrificed so much in the skies above southern England.

I drove past Stonehenge which is always disappointing, swung by Old Sarum which is much more interesting and came across this amazing sight! As you come down the road it looks like it’s flying at you and really gives you an impression of what it would look like in flight. Very stirring for a sad, old aviation nerd like me but I’d like to think it would make for an interesting sight on any journey
