Went to Seawing flying club today for a one hour flying taster. The staff were very friendly and helpful, both in helping re-arrange the day because of previous bad weather and on the day itself. The instructor today, Mark, was really calm, helpful, knowledgable and professional. I have never flown in anything other than a commercial passenger jet, so will admit to being a little apprehensive about getting into something that looked so small. But, it actually felt very safe. Mark made the experience unforgettable in all the right ways. I booked the larger plane so was able to take up my dad and son as well and we went on a flight down to the south coast and back. During the one hour flight I estimate I was actually flying the plane for 45-50 mins of it under Marks guidance. With only the takeoff and landing handled by him. It really is a chance for you to have a go at flying. I was very impressed by the whole experience and would recommend it if you fancy having a go at being a pilot in a safe, professional, and helpful way. Thankyou for a great experience :)
