From a first contact point of view. Emailed / messaged Seakers using their 'web-form' about a Sealine 255 they have for sale. Asking a couple of very straight-forward simple questions about the boats service history, explaining that we live about 250 miles away, so obviously we wanted as much information as possible. No reply and not even so much as an acknowledgement. ** If I was the owner of the 255, I would be seriously worried that Seakers are not following up potential purchasers ** They should also renew their SSL Certificate, the warning when accessing their website could be off-putting to some. A much better experience at a marina in Cambridge, who replied to an email within 4 hours.

We recently sold our boat through Seekers. The whole process was excellent, superb photos which helped to generate a significant amount of interest. Nigel was exemplary in the process organizing and making sure everything went smoothly. Needless to say, the boat sale completed in 2 weeks and we are very happy with the attentive and personable service we received. Commission is very reasonable compared to the main players yet I find it hard to imagine how they could provide a better service! I would highly recommend Seekers Yacht Brokerage.

Having travelled to Weymouth to see a boat. We raised a couple of important questions and Nigel told us he would check them out and get back to us. After Christmas I chased and he admitted he had forgotten but would get right on it. Both my wife and myself have since chased, I have had no reply, my wife was promised a call back the following Monday . That didn't happen either. What a waste of time. Have missed the opportunity of other boats as a result. Poor service.
