ZERO STARS (forced to state one)!!! I am a private, council-tax paying resident of Leeds, but when I borrowed a van to dispose of my old sofa and chair, they would not let me dispose. There is nothing on the website (certainly nothing obvious) that states that private householders cannot take a van containing materials to be disposed of. The staff were polite, but entirely unhelpful and unable to see beyond the 'council workers rule book'. No the wonder we have such a problem with fly-tipping
