We had a wonderful trip with Sea Juicer. Our skipper Andy was very helpful and kind and we got a splendid time (and we caught a lot of fish - lots of conger, several big spotted dogfish and we finished the day with catching some whiting. Overall an excellent trip, everything we asked was catered for and we really enjoyed it. It was my nephew's first time at sea and he caught the most and biggest fish of all on board. We will be definitely coming back.

The trip was cancelled by him, his excuse was the weather, so I have asked for a refund but ignored my text. I have made the payment via by bank transfer, but he is claiming bank charges involved so as an excuse on his response to my feedback below instead of replying to my text. Everybody knows that when you do bank transfer payments to a personal account, there won't be bank charges, that is his excuse not to pay the deposit back even though he cancelled the trip. He is not ethical at all. He is claiming that I didn't follow requirements of booking. Which requirements? have you sent me a terms and conditions before I made the payment? the answer is no. I will take the deposit back through small claim court as he left me no choice.

Really disappoint with our experience! I recommended this boat when we booked the trip because of past experiences (they were 15 years ago though) only to turn up on the morning to find out he had double booked! And to rub salt in the wound he tried to blame everything but himself and offered us an embarrassing £10 off each if we booked again. 6 of us having a day off easily exceeded £1000 in cost to us personally so that offer was quite frankly insulting. I also later found out he wasn't even going to be the skipper that day which in my opinion is information we should have been given because you book the boat for the skipper and his knowledge and don't expect him to palm you off with his minion without forewarning. 1 star is being kind!

I have been out on Sea Juicer several times over the years with friends and family. We've done both a private charter and joined other groups. It is always a great day out, whether you are a complete novice or a seasoned expert. Rob is always welcoming to everyone and seems to know all the best spots, as it is rare that someone doesn't catch something. He is a great captain and keeps the teas, coffees and biscuits coming throughout the day. He can also provide all the fishing gear and bait if you don't have any yourself.
