  All very slick from start to finish. Came round to carry out quote within a couple of days of contacting them. Kept me informed all the way through. All arrangements sorted out centrally (scaffolding and skip). Scaffolding and skip came on the Monday and roof replaced Tue Wed & Thu. Great bunch of lads. Seemed very efficient and quick.   Danny provided a fair quote and kept us informed about when the product would be in stock. He set an installation date a few weeks ahead and arrived as promised on the day. His team were so tidy and respectful of noise etc while we worked from home and the finished job was completed efficiently and to high quality, including an innovative solution by him to get around a particularly tricky access issue. I couldn't recommend his business highly enough. He does exactly what he says he will and at a really reasonable price. Service: Skylight installation

Could see a lot of his work on social media, so felt comfortable giving him the job. New roof quoted for and completed within only a few weeks.   We would certainly recommend SDK Roofing Ltd. Danny turned up to inspect the roof even earlier than he said as he had some spare time that day. A quote arrived by email the next day, on headed paper which is quite unusual these days. Properly typed, spelt correctly and itemised and priced to our satisfaction. He quoted a start date approximately two weeks later after receiving our confirmation to proceed, and he turned up on time, with a colleague, and carried out the work with minimal disruption. He then emailed an invoice on completion of the work, again on headed paper, properly typed, which we then paid. Two weeks later a small leak from the gutter became apparent following some heavy rain. We rang Danny and he very promptly came and fixed it without any fuss. Very pleased with the service indeed!   After many years of needing the roof replacing, I decided to bite the bullet and get it done. I started by contacting as many local roofing companies I could find and asking them for a quote. Some companies replied and came to provide a quote some didn’t even bother. What set SDK apart from the rest of the companies, was their punctuality and professionalism from the start. SDK actually turned up to quote when they said they would. They also provided the most professional looking itemised quotation. They also followed up their quotation to find out how they did. Compared to the other quotations we had received SDK was very competitively priced. Due to the fact that SDK had actually itemised their quotation and followed the quote up with a phone call, we were able to eliminate a few things we didn’t need (e.g. Downpipes) to bring the cost down, making SDK the clear winner of the works. Once we had agreed the price, we were given a date to commence the work that suited both of us. A week prior to the start date Danny from SDK gave us a call to let us know when the scaffolding company would be arriving and when the materials and skip would be getting delivered. The Scaffolding team turned up and worked hard to get the scaffold up in pouring rain and were really polite and professional and considerate. They covered the scaffolding with foam at ground level to prevent any accidents as we share a path with an elderly neighbour and we have young children. On the date works were due to commence the materials were delivered early morning ready for Danny and his team to commence. However when Danny arrived he noticed immediately that the company had delivered the wrong coloured tiles, and swiftly got onto the supplier to rectify the issue. Within a few hours the tiles were replaced with the correct ordered tiles. Even with this slight issue it did not delay the work starting, with Danny and his team removing the old tiles and fitting a new underlay to the roof within a couple of hours. The next day Danny and his team arrived and completed the roof tiling and installing the 2 windows. Throughout Danny and his team worked hard and were polite, professional and punctual making me realise we had chosen the right company for the job. Once the works were completed Danny informed me that the existing lead round the chimney was fine and a better grade lead than roofers fit these days, so was reused and re-oiled. This honesty from SDK saved us another £100. This was something that Danny didn’t have to do as we had agreed a price for new lead, and he could have just replaced it, but this honesty is worth mentioning as its clear proof these are no cowboy conmen. Danny was unable to seal the fascias initially with the neighbours as they were different sizes and the scaffolding was in the way. Danny returned once the scaffolding was removed and completed the sealing work to the fascias. A week or so after the work was completed we received an email from SDK insurance company with an attached 10 year guarantee for the work done. Overall SDK were fantastic and provided a totally hassle free experience. They were polite, honest, hardworking and professional throughout, all at a competitive price and fully guaranteed.
