We recently had the pleasure of working with the SD Structures team on an innovative refurbishment and extension project in Southwest London. They proposed creative solutions to a complex and challenging brief set by our clients which resulted in a cantilevered closet wing extension. Not only were their suggestion a demonstration of their "outside of the box" thinking but they were a pleasure to work with too and we hope to do it again soon.

SD was recommended to us, but I would not recommend them to others. The architect submitted the plans and SD then they came with overcomplicated plans - all the five builders who looked at them while quoting said this. The plans had to be redrawn, we lost several weeks of time and there was no communication to us in this process. We were then charged extra for this, which astonished me. We paid more and had to let go of idea that might have been possible if there had been better communication. After discussing how unhappy I was we received a small ‘goodwill discount’ but still had to pay for the extra work that should have been avoided in the first place.
