I went from open water to rescue diver here and had the best experience with a diving company to this day, the instructors are very professional and serious, yet still funny and approachable. Scuba crew increased my diving skills and knowledge ten fold in only a few dives. Will definitely be back to dive with them again - I would recommend scuba crew over anyone to anyone.

Martin is a legend! He is always cheerful and has a brilliant sense of humour but most importantly he is a GREAT teacher. Very clear explanation and communication. He assembles a great team around him. My 3 children and husband did courses with Martin recently and they all loved every minute and felt they learnt so much. I was in support so I witnessed it all. Now we as a family are all looking forward to being part of Martin's dive community!

Knowing nothing about scuba diving but on the search for a new hobby I found ScubaCrew online, And after a great "taster session" I felt Martin was competent in his teaching but also in his knowledge being a man with clearly a few dives under his belt! His friendly approach after the first session (I can be a pain) I jumped at the opportunity to do the Open water course with him on my first steps in to the world of scuba diving and will do many more courses with ScubaCrew in the future

For a family of four being taught to dive by such a wonderful, supportive and patient teacher was simply amazing. Martin has the ability to take someone who has never jumped into a swimming pool and hates putting her head under water to be able to dive in Wraysbury Lake within a couple of weeks - he is a true hero! The whole experience was awesome and we look forward to many more dives with such an excellent, professional team of divers. Simply can't recommend them more highly.

1 million stars for Martin and his team! If you are in two minds... JUST DO IT! Martin went to great lengths for me to get my Open Water so I could accept a last minute invitation to a dive trip on the Red Sea this New Year’s. After some significant cramming, some very cold first open water dives and a lot of motivation and support from martin I now know my BCD’s from SPG’s and my NDL’s from my SMB’s!! Martin is entertaining, professional, dedicated, reliable, and everything else you need in a good teacher. The overall experience has been better than I imagined, even in the middle of winter, now I can’t wait to get to Egypt and keep diving in the future!

The open water course can be hard, it can do your head in, but at the end of the course you know that all the finicky and picky behaviour by Martin and his team is to help you optimize your diving experience and keep you alive. He has an awesome crew of divers who join in and teach you to learn because they are passionate about the course and that just creates a passion to dive more. My only advice is when he says read the book ... take time to read the book. It is very little pain for the pre dive gain you can get from it.
