    Very good service. Couldn't help me with my broken glasses though. When you buy your glasses make sure you know that you have a frames are not going to be discontinued. Also make sure that you know that you have frame replacement insurance or the equivalent..as it only lasts for a year. For those on benefits you only get a voucher every 2 years. If you happen to break your glasses after your 1 year frame warranty you will have to pay for the lenses and the frames or wait for your next eye check...which is every 2 year's. The staff were very patient and helpful with my predicament but unfortunately I have to pay full price or fix the frames myself because they don't have any other options available. I honestly expected the system to be different and as I wasn't aware of the warranty etc...I'm left with broken glasses for the next 4 months. I would've liked to have known this on my initial appointment when I purchased my frames. It would have made a big difference to me, especially knowing that my frames were being discontinued and that after the first year I would not be covered for any damage or replacement frames. Overall I think this is a very good opticians and I would go back It's small and quiet for the testing process and I found the frames a reasonable price...although I didn't know that they would be discontinued when I purchased them. Good customer service 👍

    Took my 82yr old father for an eye test and DVLA vision assessment. The Optometrist was abrupt and would not offer a plain assessment of his visual acuity to drive. After asking several times whether he could, all she replied was his ability to read a number plate at the prescribed distance could vary depending on the light. If this was backed up by a statement to state that they are not authorised to offer a professional opinion on whether someone can or cannot drive, I wouldn't have minded paying the £30 for her to complete the paperwork. The fact that she didn't and given her tone throughout the appointment warrants this a bad experience.
