I went in for a significant order today, had all the product codes ready so joined the queue. Before I’d even had chance to draw breath a very rude man at the counter shouted I have to use the tablet to send the order to the till. “Can’t do anything without sending the order through on the tablet mate - pen and paper has gone”. I asked if I can do it the old fashioned way (the tablets are slow and useless) with the codes to hand and the reply was “NO!”. Today, Screwfix have lost a loyal customer of many years due to impersonal service and a rude, lazy, staff member. I know you can just give them your postcode and product codes as I did it 3 days ago with a more polite member of staff. They weren’t even busy today. Go to Toolstation on Rutland Road, you will honestly not believe how pleasant the staff are in total contrast to Screwfix. My new go to place.

Just been in store didn’t really know what I was looking for, a lovely lady Michelle help me so much went really out of her way to help me this was the best experience iv had with screw fix nothing was any trouble Michelle was really polite and in the end she got what I needed. Shops need more Michelle’s thank you so much wish I could leave more then 5 stars you really went above and beyond thank you.
