One star is all this store deserves for the poor customer service they provided. I was dealt with by Toby, who while being polite, was very officious, inflexible and as unhelpful as he could be without appearing outwardly rude. Despite being the only person in the store, Toby insisted I used the automated collection tablet, because it was company policy. Had he just looked at the text himself I would have been out of there much quicker. Then I was directed to the door outside where my 35kg lawnmower was waiting. I asked if he would help me carry it to my car 15 feet away and although he'd moved it to the door, he couldn't help me because he had a bad back. It's a good job I wasn't frail or disabled. I fully criticise Toby and his inflexible approach to company policy, having collected the same model of mower from the Folkestone Srewfix store 20 minutes earlier. At the Folkestone store the experience was completely the opposite, they couldn't have been more helpful. No check in tablet and an offer of assistance to carry it to the car. Some people shouldn't be public facing, Toby was not a good advert for Screfix in any way. Scruffy, upside-down name badge, unhelpful and absolutely no people skills.

Saw an item online that had two in stock so drove down to the store to buy it. Person working there told me they had none in stock. So I left, when I got home and checked the stock again, they had two in stock. Either they sold those last two and had a fresh delivery of two within 10 minutes, their stock system is rubbish or the guy working there was just too lazy to look for the item.
