The best zero-waste shop in Bristol. Friendly staff in a large shop with enough variety of produce. Prices are comparable to supermarkets when you factor in the fact that most things are organic, and you are supporting a local independent business. It would be great if they introduced a loyalty card or student discount scheme as they would definitely see an increase in customers. Visit if you re in the Clifton/Redland area.

I’m concerned about your response to what Norah AH commented 2 years ago - has anything else been done for this? Thank you

Such a great shop. Makes reducing packaging a real pleasure. Their yoghurt coated strawberries are outrageously good

Great place with a wonderful selection and good prices. I usually worry about not being able to afford shops like this but not in this case! They're making it easy to shop sustainably.

Really fantastic. Not only does this store reduce plastic waste, it also reduces food waste - if you are making a specific recipe with ingredients you don’t usually use you can buy the exact about you need for your recipe with no excess. In addition, there is an excellent selection of produce over and above the dried goods section at a typical supermarket.

I have purchased a ground coffee. When a sale person was grounding the coffee for me, machine was very slow and struggled to ground the coffee. At the time I didn't realise that this was due to the fact that the setting was too fine. When I got home and tried to make a expresso and had a problem. I have put the same amount of coffee as usual to only find out that it was too much and my espresso machine couldn't take the pressure. So next time I had to put less coffee and the coffee wasn't good. So I went to the store to say what have happened to me, to only be told that they had few customers who had very similar problems. Their only device was, next time I need to ask not to ground the coffee beans too fine. I am sorry, but I'm not going to waste more money just to keep trying and paid for those errors. They should know better was settings it need to be. Too fine obviously isn't right.
